I watch all of the addicted fishing videos, and I am so happy after watching this one! I lived in Garibaldi for the last 2 years and just moved back to Milwaukie 1 month ago but this video is almost an exact day in the life of me about 2-3 times a week minimum! Down to kayak, bait, lures, docks, jetty, everything! So cool to know that I was doing the same thing that Jordan himself had choose to approach it! 😍😍😍🥳
I love Garibaldi and Tillamook Bay but dude you had two keeper Red rocks in your pot that are just as sweet or sweeter than Dungeness yes they have less meat but they also make amazing stock!!!
Jordan for lemongrass just cut them into 2 inch lengths and then smash it with the butt of your knife to release the oils and toss them in. Lemongrass is very fibrous and would be very hard to consume and digest. Love the recipe though.
That brings back a lot of memories. I used to hike into the Norwegian memorial when I was a kid and I used to eat muscles all day long. A little Tabasco and some garlic butter, throw in a few surf perch and you are living high on the hog!

I will tell you how to catch black rock fish dang near every cast off that jetty for the GPS coordinates to that spot you guys were hammering those nooks and chums bobber fishing.

Funny, I was just out there today, first time Jetty fishing, 3/8oz jig white grub and I hooked 6, almost every cast but then the outgoing tide started ripping and my gear wasn't hitting the bottom enough, I probably would have found them again if I had a 1/2-1oz jig, gotta stock up.
