I really hope you achieve going to the Olympics Chellsie. Not just because you are so good, but because it would be such a great boost to a sport that’s taken a battering in the past few years. Personally, even though some of your competitors may have harder skills, your execution is superlative and that can easily match scores, imo. If you don’t get through, I hope you continue and try for Worlds or something.

I was pretty sure she’d make it. But this the ankle injury, she’s been set back a lot and she’s progress very slowly, I’m doubting her chances a lot but I completely agree with you.

@@cat5636 I googled it and found this: "USA Gymnastics has announced rescheduled dates for the 2020 Olympic Trials, which will now take place June 24-27, 2021 at Enterprise Center. At the event’s conclusion, the full U.S. Olympic gymnastics roster for the Tokyo Olympic Games, including the men’s and women’s artistic gymnastics teams, will be named. The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games are slated to begin July 23, 2021."

I actually stopped watching Gymnastics competitions after the Rio olympics because I didn’t really find it that unique anymore, but when I heard you were coming back, I immediately jumped back into watching videos of the sport again! I’m so glad you’re back as a competing gymnast, don’t let age be a boundary. I really enjoy your beam work Chellsie and I just wanna say thank you so much for inspiring me to not give up! All the best for the next competition, love from a fan from Singapore! PS: I know it sounds very insensitive, but she’s the only gymnast I’ve seen doing the Dos Santos moves and Arabians so well on beam and it just makes her so different and interesting from most gymnasts I’ve watched.

Dang! You’re looking great! Everything you do is precise with your movements. Even if you come up short your body form is spot on. Especially on the beam. Holy Moly! The young girls do not perform as clean as you do. You exude confidence. Keep On, KEEPING ON!

Another great week for you. You are getting so close the catching that shaposh half! I love your merch but I wish you would offer the Chell yeah memmel up graphic on the Ogio phantom tank. Dear Chellsie, following your journey since week 2 or 3. I enjoy the passion and joy you and your dad are having all the way. I would love to see you at the Olympics. Another thing I would love to: Attending your adult class once. I am just a normal "having fun" gymnast from Germany who restarted with gymnastics at the age of 38,5 after 20 years (I am now nearly 41). My family and I are planning an All-Over-the-US Tour/vacation when this Covid19-Mess is over. I told them we need to travel to Wisconsin for me to attending an M&M class. (My younger daughter likes the idea cause she's a gymnast too, but the other two ... 🙈😂) Best regards from Germany to you and Andy! :-)

I can't believe how easy the dismount on bars is looking already, are you sure you didn't mean you took an 8-year break between finishing the flips and reaching the mat?? Also, which events are you hoping to compete in April? I feel like beam and vault already look close to compete-able but I was wondering if you were thinking bars or floor as well

I recently read that a unitard or leotard with leggings is now allowed in competition. Would you wear that? Seems more comfortable but maybe a bit warm. And I like that move at the end of the beam where you fold over at the hip to show flexibility. Expound that. If you can hit everything, you could certainly medal on something.

When you do the shaposh half, why is the rigged bar a little lower than the actual bar?

My theory is since the fake bar is set up to be at the actual real bar’s height, they just had to move the rigid bar up to avoid it.

The rigged bar is the the actual bar height, we just raised the real bar for training purposes. Don’t want to break a finger while learning it!

Should you be doing full routines and landing on fewer mats or are you already doing that and not showing it? Not trying to be negative.
