Fishing for Aggressive Houndfish on the Flats in the Bahamas - 4K 

I met Tommy at Old Bahama Bay Resort in the Bahamas and we decided to go fishing in the ocean for the very unusual and dangerous species of fish called a “houndfish”. Houndfish are a great sport fish, that will jump and make screaming runs, but they are also very dangerous and need to be handled with extreme care. I started the day off fishing with a piece of sardine for bait to catch the houndfish. After capturing and releasing several houndfish, Tommy tried to catch a houndfish using his fly fishing tackle. Unfortunately, the houndfish were not interested in the fly fishing lures. Tommy and I left the houndfish and started searching for the elusive permit along the shoreline. We found one big permit, but he wouldn’t bite. We finished the day off catching houndfish and other species of fish on artificial lures.
