Fishing With Jigs is known to be a Big producer when it comes to catching Bass in Lakes and Ponds. But most people don't think to fish them in Canals! Fishing jigs in Canals can be extremely rewarding, especially when it comes to catching those bigger canal Bass! We went out for 1hr and ended up smacking some nice quality fish!

Everyone please be careful fishing these canals. Some places depending where you go, are Steep and slippery, and you really don't want to fall in. Good luck to you all, I've learned alot from this man 🤘

The canals are really dangerous, they are slippery and with the current, if the water is deep it could be bad. Always stay aware before you whack some bass!

Right on, man thanks for reminding others about protecting the fish from heat damage. That DG sucks the moisture right out of them and weakens their abilities to fight off infections and parasites.

Living near Old Town Scottsdale, I dont know why I have fished the canals yet! On average, how deep are the canals??

The canals in Scottsdale tend to be a little deeper, I would say 8 foot to 12 foot. But in Mesa Chandler they are max 6 feet.

Change your frame rate to 30FPS not 60FPS when you take video... going to give you the cinematic look. Like a movie look. I'd even go to 4k 24.9FPS. FPS = Frames per second

@@SouthwestFishing Yeah on everything! Id leave the 4k on both but definitely change your frame rate to 24.9 or 30. On the Lumix change your shutter speed to 1/50 if you use 24.9 FPS or shutter speed to 1/60 if you use 30 FPS
