Really enjoyed this Darran, you're a natural at the fishing videos! Such a calm and relaxing vibe. Some lovely fish there and that Crucian was a great catch 😁 Also glad it's not just me who gets caught in the trees 😂 🎣
Nice one Darren, been following your other channel for a while, but as a keen angler was made up to see you’ve started this channel. Had my own for a while and always looking for new fishing to watch.
Ahhh thanks Mike, appreciate you watching the channels. Yeah urban hooker fishing has been a long time coming, didn't seem right putting it on the motorhome channel and here we can do so much more and really get stuck in to it all, can't wait to get more videos up 👊🏻😊
Loving this new channel! Been watching thru UMH, and saw ur new channel advertised. I'm a complete novice fisherman, only sea fished properly once. Would love advice on what a beginner's first solo fishing trip should be. What licences you need. How u find all these great locations and if u can stay over or do night fishing. Finally, will u be doing sea-fishing? All the best with ur new channel guys 👍.
Thanks for coming over to the new channel, we've had a few comments about starting fishing and being a beginner so we're planning a fishing 101 series where we go through everything from start to finish to help people new to the sport. We're also planning on doing sea/beach/pier/boat fishing in the future which will be fun as we're new to that ourselves 😂👍🏻😊
Would you consider doing a video where you talk about fishing licences? Recently got into fishing but only sea fishing at the moment but would like to branch out
what a breath of fresh air. i am 71 and fished for Roach since i was 5 years old. To see someone just enjoying themselves is just fabulous. Preston do a quick change link which is better than the bead for float fishing as it acts as a dropper shot. Keep them coming. Brian Dorset
Thanks Brian appreciate your kind words, gotta have a laugh aint ya, that's what its all about. Thanks for the tip about the quick change link, I'll have a look at that 👍🏻
Great video, a great location, but commercial fisheries are a no go for me, only ever fished one, and the fish were queuing up for the book bait with every cast. The rivers and reservoirs, sort the men out from the boys, when it comes to water craft. But everyone to their own, tight lines.
Yeah I get what your saying, some are definitely very easy to fish but then there are fisheries out there that are pretty tough going. I will say though you can't be river/canal fishing not know what you might catch and that its wild, it's brilliant. Thanks for watching mate
Hi Darren...Im blocked on your other channel (ages ago for banging on with health advice ref your weight) anyway first of all welldone for eventually taking my keto advice, glad its going well 😊👍...the actual reason to leave a message is ref the motorhome garage...have you considered a full width center slide/pull out? Anyway tight lines😊🐟
hi mate, ahhh keto isn't new to me I first tried it like 5/6 years ago just not really spoke about it. Not sure a full slide out would allow me to have everything I want to carry including the bike and everything, something to think about though 👍🏻😊
Hi mate, they are from Preston, there the ICS system. I flipping love them they are so simple to use and change it’s makes changing tactics very easy or even weight, like a light 20g pellet feeder for close in but then say you see them moving at distance you can easily switch to a 45g pellet feed in seconds.
Ello Darren swiss here from willow feilds hi mate that rig is awful lol come out with me I'll sort u out where that feeder bead is they sell a tiny size 10 swivel with a silicone sleeve miles neater or loop to loop mate with a few number 8s droppers
Sorry but if you do not get any comments you will never learn. Quick change bead really bad loop to loop better also just but a swan shop on the hook to check the depth. Hook looked like a side 12 til big 😥
100% John, we want comments and constructive feedback, we're not too big and proud to admit if we've done something wrong or don't know something. I'll try the loop to loop next time I'm out, what hook size would you recommend?
