What a Morning session FISHING off Durban’s Number 1 (Bonito, Tuna, Dorado)
Action-packed from the word go, it was gale starting off with a yellow fin tuna on the very first cast.
The guys braved some rough seas for a morning session and it paid off handsomely.
Lionel tried several lures on this trip with the Blu Jiggy spoon getting the most catches,
second to that was the fish inc Winglet,
he later went on to try a bigger profile lure hoping to move away from catching those smaller bonito’s and get a big tuna- Fish Inc Hooker 110 (new and will be available soon) another surprise with a baby Dorado grabbing the lure.
The guys fished 3/4hrs and managed to hook +-30 fish for the session
The 2 setups used
Okuma Metaloid slow jigging rod paired with the Azores 40 and Boss Braid Slick 30lb
Okuma Metaloid Flick stick rod paired with the Metaloid 55 and Boss Braid Slick 50lb
Elbe Fluorocarbon
Thanks to Mo from Fishing Addicts for the awesome fishing trip
