After discovering that New Zealand had some bodies of water with world class perch it became a mission of mine to catch a perch that would blow my mind! awesome video man haha yea this was pretty much me a few years ago around the north island XD biggest perch for me so far is 33cm. u landed some solid as perch

Brilliant video, how big do they grow over there or how big do you reckon they could,, here in uk a 3 is big tho there are a few waters do reg 4s n odd 5s , mainly trout fisheries or crayfish waters . , stunning fish.

Appreciate that! I have heard upward to 6 pounds in areas of NZ, the area we fish the biggest recorded is just under 6 pounds! Absolute craziness
