Awesome trip. Looked like a gloomy start weather wise. Still great that you were catching fish. Awesome. Good that the weather turned nice. The fishing was great fun. Well done on your catches. Some of those were nice and fat. Love seeing you and the boys having a great time. Great job. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks there was so many boats and the fog, made for a interesting morning. Thankfully everyone was taking it cautious, Turned out to be a beautiful day! Thanks for coming along, good luck on your next adventure!!
I noticed you're running the trolling motor with a remote, I had to laugh because I do the same thing and it can be a lot of work keeping poles straight and untangled in the water, reeling fish, and running the boat all at once. nice job on the beauty fish!
Thank you, the remote has been a game changer from what we had! lol, but it is still a challenge to stay on top of the fish and keep our lines strait . We sure had a great day, thanks for watching, have a great weekend!!
I couldn't tell because of the fog in the morning but there was a lot of trailers in the parking lot. We headed through the Narrows to the Solider creek side and there wasn't much of a crowd over there. Fun times Thanks for watching!!
Awesome thanks for the advice just picked up a laser minnow in glow green. Ill have to see if I can find the buzz bomb and try it too! Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend!!
So we are running snap weights 2-3 oz and run them at around 30-40 ft. I found a chart on line that tells how far out to run your lines to get the depth you need. A line counter reel is important. Then we start at 1.5 mph and go up or down from there depending on the fish. rednekoutfitters.com/depthchart.aspx Try it out, good luck!!
We started at Strawberry bay marina and then motored into the Meadows and ended up in the Narrows then to Soldier creek. Fun day! Thanks for watching!!
Most of the fish were hanging around 40' and yes we fished the Soldier Creek side. I like to avoid the crowds as much as possible. Thanks for watching. Have a great day!!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but were you literally stopped and jigging? I only have a single man inflatable pontoon and have been wondering if there is a way I could fish for Kokes
Yes we were jigging for Kokes stationary, it works. we use Kokanater jigging spoons tipped with a couple of Berkley maggots. Check out Don Allphin, ru-vid.com . He has some great jigging tutorials for kokanee! Thanks for watching , good luck! Let us know if you catch some.
If i was going to fish Strawberry from shore I would try the Soldier creek side by the damn with probably power bait, minnows, Night crawlers and or maybe a spoon or a Jakes. I have good luck fishing for Rainbows and Cutts there. Thanks for watching, good luck fishing!!
