Fishing Lake Hartwell in Late February (TOPWATER SCHOOLING) 

Fished Lake Hartwell February 25th, 2023. Warm front brought water temps in the mid 50's and had fish MOVING. Started early looking for bait in the backs of pockets. The fish really didn't become active until 8:30 and the fishing only got better from there. Fish were schooling topwater which made them extremely fun to catch. Fishing only got better as the day went on. After 12:00, the bite really picked up after a lull and we were able to get on a several schools of fish. Ended up catching around 20 fish and had a blast scoping them with a jerkbait and swimbait.
