In this fishing video, I take out the kayak into East Gippsland throwing around a range of lures to see if we can't find some big dusky flathead, black bream or even an estuary perch. #kayakfishing #flatheadfishing #lurefishing
@@ChasingFish yeah it is a big call. I seen group of 5 people pulled in near 80 black bream between them. In just 2 hours but you need to know the secret location and the timing. Seen 1m flathead being caught n my friend caught 2 flatties 65 n 75 on chicken
Hey mate, great vid loved it. I’m going up to lakes entrance soon and will ofc be going to lake tyers as well what soft plastics do you think are the best for big flatties?
Paddle tail soft plastics are probably the most consistent plus you can rig them weedless if the weed is bad. Anything from 2.5" up works, smaller ones will catch everything too
They are okay, I bought it thinking it would be waterproof to put like rain coat and stuff in. But unfortunately it isn't so any waves that cone over the front it leaks through the zip or seem I think on top of it. However it is waterproof from the inside so now I have been using it as just a small catch bag for smaller species
@@ChasingFish That's a spew. I would have really thought they would have been water proof. Having it as a kill bag is still a good idea though. I might still get one. Cheers mate
@@esidharta ah yes, I screwed in a railblaza star mount over it coz I prefer them and never going to use a mast. Had the ram one that goes in there but definitely prefer this railbaza one
