I like your show> i have gone around that area a bit but I gave up because all my catch was always undersize. Nothing to take home. Tell you what your Marib. river Bream vid is a classic, those are all beautiful size. Most would not eat out of th M. but Bream that size.. one or two on the table would have to happen on the grill. EP are under rated eating.

Great spot to Kayak, away from where people can see you.. Not too sure about the water quality that close to the CBD tho.. :)

Great work mate I was thinking of going next to the balti bridge next to Ron Barassi park in Docklands for bait what were you using ?? I was thinking of taking squid what would you recommend thanks mate the video is awesome

Most soft plastics will work anything from 2.5” to 4” will catch fish

Hi mate, don't personally have a favourite. As long as it has good gearing, guides, and does the job. That's all that matters

@@joshp8060 In that case any pier produces fish. Fishing can be really tough in cooler months. If you want want to chase squid and salmon head to Mornington, rye, Blairgowrie, sorrento, and portsea pier.

Nice vid, slight digression... Do you need a special kayak fishing license or will your usual fishing license cover this aspect as well?

Any good land based fishing spots two to three hours away that will get me really big fish

Atm fishing can be tough as the water temperature is dropping. You can target monster Carp at Albert Park Lake or chase big snapper landbased off piers such as princess pier, williamstown breakwall, mornington pier and most other piers. If you want a really big fish. Head to Portland on a boat and get yourself a 100kg + Southern Bluefin Tuna
