The only person I wanna hear talk fishing is LFG. Been here since 150K subs and before you joined Googan. You taught me a lot about when, and what to throw during certain conditions.
Lucky guys! If there was one person I could fish a day with and jus listen to him talk about fishin, tips, family, huntin, bows.. just whatever, it would b LFG. My dude is so chill and knowledge and jus loves to fish. 🤘🏻
Ya'll should really visit Gatlinburg, TN. I really believe OSG, LFG and the rest of the family would really love it. Rent a cabin, fish, hike and shopping.
Such an amazing video! I love how you showcased the thrill of fishing in such a captivating way. The way you handle the equipment and the way you connect with nature is truly inspiring. Keep up the fantastic work!
@LakeforkGuy just a PSA on the motor sling. Do your research on where they are mounting to in relation to where the jack plate or motor is actually breaking off the boat. We've seen 2 boats now that had slings, mounted in the location the manufactor shows to mount, and the motor still ended up in the boat. Very good idea to have if mounted in the right location.
It’s been tough here in Nashville this summer LFG. Thanks for showin us it’s still possible…and for remindin me I’ve got 3 packs of blazin worms I should probably be throwin
Ive fished a couple tournaments on that lake with my buddy. Its a rough lake to get going on. Once you find the right pattern you can really get rolling.
Fished old hickory for 40 years.. 4 inch tequila sunrise curly tail worm on a 1/16 ounce shakey head is money this time of year. I've been using that combo for over 30 years. I was shaky heading before it was even a thing. I used a 1/16-1/8 ounce gamakatsu 1/0 jig head head!
Oh yeah there's Cherokee, Norris, laurel lake I live right next to and where you can find me n the boat alot lol. Then Cumberland n dale hollow not to far. I love it in this area man. Wouldn't wanna be anywhere else to be honest. Keep doin your thang man. Keep fishin
Old Hickory can be stingy. Check out Percy Priest next time. Or Center Hill (a lot like Dale Hallow) but closer to Nashville. If you want to river fish check out the Caney Fork. It gets touristy in the summer. Tons of canoe/kayak rentals but there are sections that are less busy. I’d love to take you guys out on the lake.
Got to love Tennessee!!! Glad u and OSG love it as much as myself and my wife. My home lake is Tims Ford, which has the Jack Daniel's Distellery right next to it in Lynchburg. If you ever want to hit the water or the distillery just reach out. Would be happy to meet u guys and show you more of our beautiful state and wonderful bass fishing! Keep up the great content LFG!!!
@@randallsmart2045 Travel a little ? Lol Iv been to 11 countries, lived in 3, grew up in Australia….Iv been around lol. Like I said this place is turning into an over crowded, over priced, dump.
The duel console bass boat is so awesome to see. I know what the pro anglers say about weight of boat, and lack of care for the co angler, but it has to have a better resale value...
Charcoal filtered /in Tennessee/ specifically. Lots of whiskey outside Tennessee gets charcoal filtered, but because TN distilleries make such a big deal out of it there are a lot of people who think no one else charcoal filters but TN. The more you know!
dang I live 1 mile from shutes branch boat ramp on old hickory, it's a tough lake to fish for sure, at least for largemouth, also world record walleye and American eel came out of old hickory
09:00 what is the name of that plant yall are fishing in? it sprung up on my shoreline a few years back and now has taken over half the shoreline now. during the fall and early winter the pike are all up in it(as well as the local otter). it's extremely strong and mainly just claims tons of lures I have to pull out using a hook on a rope.
It was scary enough having the 15hp kick up on a log when flying downriver at 30mph... I can't imagine a 175++hp coming out! Over the years I had that 15 I went thru 3 lower units, and 2 dozen props(I carried 2 spares) and I forget how many water pump impellers, river was silt loaded plus hitting mud bars, liquid mud thru the water pump is bad! Dangerous river to boat, but massive 60+ pound flathead cats!
Sat next to your wife on the way home from Nashville. She was very kind and easy to talk to. Wish i could have met you, but was running to make a connecting flight, which i missed anyway and had to sit for 5 hours. Anyway, I love the channel and wish you and your family the best.
Tennessee Whiskey = Bourbon + Charcoal Filtering + Distilled in Tennessee. Nothing in the rules of Bourbon prevents it from being Charcoal Filtered and still legally be Bourbon, whereas Tennessee Whiskey has all of the SAME requirements as Bourbon plus the necessity of Charcoal Filtering and being distilled in Tennessee. Therefore, EVERY Tennessee Whiskey, including Jack Daniels, is Bourbon. And no, for those who still think it's a rule, Bourbon does not have to be distilled in Kentucky, but it does have to be distilled in The United States.
