I had the same problem yesterday since the last update where they nerfed the deeplines to be no longer effective in less then 100m water. I went on the Ocean Runner, dropped 20 deeplines (half with squid bait and other half with meckerel bait) and dropped them in tuna and swordfish rich water and just got a single tuna or swordfish on every single line (used to be 3) ended up with just over 4000kg of tuna/swordfish wich is only a quarter of what I would normally catch with 20 deeplines. If I drop all 40 deeplines and have 3 on all the lines I can rake in around 32/33.000kg wich is =$1.250.000 per trip. :) ps. You pronounce Yarmouth however you wish, but I think the official pronouciation is: "Yar-muth" or "Yar-m'th". ^^

The last version Yar-M'th is closest I would say truth be told most Americans try to pronounce every letter but Americans can articulate better than most Brits I can understand 90% of American accents but I struggle to understand some broader UK accents and most Brits cant understand me and I'm from the UK, Yorkshire man born and bred strong in arm thick in head. You can get more than 3 fish on a deepline. I've gotten as many as 5 on one line before, possibly 6. Not very common, but it happens. Granted, this was an update or two ago.

@@TheHomeOfEverythingSimulation most I've had in my 61 hours of play is 4. Granted after patch, getting more than 1 fish on deeplines is rare. They nerfed deeplines if used under 100 meters. And guess where all the swordfish and tuna are showing up? Ugh. Sucks

I like the driving in and out of port, but I would prefer you cut the time down. Like only be driving for a min instead of 5. Other than that keep up the good work.

What we need is tips on how to make money fast at the very beginning, this game is good but tedious, only one boat at the office and that is lobster fishing which is good but half of the Lobsters are undersize, and most cages are empty and thinks is supposed to be easy also only one mission to make 50,000 after that nothing, the boat is dead slow and to improve you have to take out bank loans, I find this far too taxing a game to enjoy it sucks!

Exactly what you think. Long line tends to hover, so they are placed in shallower waters. Deep water is exactly was it sounds like I believe it's anything over 150m

Just fish with nets. Can do it all year and don't have to pay much attention to the seasons. Get a huge cargo and catch a ton of garbage fish. You'll still make $1 million or more every run.

Not sure if its the same problem but i had issues with that too and found that it was conflicting with Xbox controller so i unplugged it and play with mouse and keyboard.
