Bass fishing during the pre spawn can be one of the most challenging and most rewarding times to fish. Today we are fishing on a power plant lake in the winter for bass that are getting ready to spawn. I have to fish painfully slow with some googan baits on the bottom to get big bites. There is also a shallow bite using lipless crankbaits and jerkbaits, but the big female bass are lazy and want a slow presentation on the bottom.

Man there's 2 sounds that bring back a lot of childhood memories, one is the sound of rain on a tin roof which our whole 2 story house was covered with and you would love the inside was all tonne and groove pine boards and no paint and it was beautiful. Now downstairs behind the kitchen were 2 boat slips where customers kept their cristcraft 24 footers and where bass and perch became my challenges and the other sound but no lesser important to me and was reminded of early in your video which is the slapping of the water against the hull, now if that doesn't get your blood boiling then you may as well hold your breath and rethink your life. You boys keep up the good work and the fact that you and Lunkers are good family guys with family values means a lot.

I'm a big time crappie Fisher. I've only had the opportunity to go 2 times this year and have come up empty handed both times. I have caught many bass while crappie fishing. My pb bass is 7 lbs. I'm thinking about starting to bass fish a little bit. Thanks to you and lunkers I have obtained quite. Bit of knowledge about it. Thank you for the educational videos. Keep p the good work.

Look for an old fish and ski. I bought a 1989 that someone completely restored for under $5k. The old evinrude motors are solid and will get you out on the lake for fishing or boating around.

Weather changes in Arkansas River Valley I didn't catch one my first one until April when the Creek was warm enough last year I was at my spot I was a inch of two from a tree root fishing for bluegill and then I catch a 3 pound spotted Kentucky

I use a 33 rhino tough from 89 and a single splitshot with zoom pepper chart and bass hook I've caught large mouth like that in September and until November but I have caught bass with crappie hooks and yellow tube lures
