Fishing Planet - Fish Tag Coordinates VI - Historic Fish - San Joaquin Delta Canoe Location 

For Historic Snook I'm using Barbless JigHead 5/8 6/0 and casting straight off the dock at The Salty Delta and it's hot. I got 3 historic, one 2 trophy and one Unique all at one peak and and all at the same marker(left below). Peak sunny morning with another peak sunny afternoon. My spot 148' off the dock at [-112.40, 47.96].

1/2 oz #2/0 jig worked the best for me in this spot.I kept missing so many strikes with the 3/4oz #3/0 jig setup for the rainbows on falcon lake. I caught 5 in 6 casts!

For anyone still struggling with the snook. I suggest trying the infinity tunnels, same spot as the historic peacock bass.

Man, the Snook are tough! I keep catching all Snook except the Historic ones, plus Gafftopsail Catfish and Red Drum of various sizes. Oh well...keep plugging along! Edited now. TIME seems to be extremely important. I was fishing the slow peak that tops out around 5PM and then goes down from there, but when it hit 8PM, I couldn't STOP catching them! Got my 4, plus 3 more between 8 and 9PM!
