I used to enjoy this game and don't mind spending money on reasonable priced DLC as i have bought quite a few of them.But for me these devs are starting to take the piss with the price of some of there DLC and ingame economy has ripped the life out of this game for me..
If you want to push this even further.. . I truly believe that all areas should be increased in scale by at least 75-100%, as well as opening up the shoreline areas for more spots to cast out on. Devs should be constantly expanding these Lakes and Rivers, adding new details and areas. That would make me much more likely to “fund” with more dlc purchases in the future (I’ve already purchased some on ps store, there isn’t much dlc there / hope they add some of the cooler steam packs). I’m another PS4 player that doesn’t even have night/topwater mind you.
Absolutely right the ingame economy is fubar, anyone saying different are simply kidding themselves and everyone they try to push that over on. Add 4K for a single ingame day rental and you’ve made it impossible to even use said boat in a profitable manner, unless you dish out those 40 euros. I’m all about supporting these guys / this game but, this is pushing the thin tight line period
Dano UK, I didn’t say I was going anywhere but keep on preaching your hate. For a new player starting out it is entirely feasible that the ingame economy is unforgiving and quite harsh - just like your attitude towards a middle ground / progress
I like how true he is about this new update as not everyone as the kind of money the game wants and yes the prices should be lower I understand it's a free game but damm if your buying bout or rods it's like buying a game over n over as some ps4 games or pc can cost like £45 to £55 but you get a game but in fishing you get a rod n lures that u may lose in two seconds plus cost money to buy back real money not in game so I like how true you are and it's nice to see that keep up to good work
Agree with you on this one as well.. And you forgot to say that you need to paddle about 10 real time minutes which is something like around 40 minutes ingame from kayaks spawn point to the pike position.
this is not the only problem...there is now a glitch with the casting of rods and when it happens you need to quit the game and restart it to fix the problem,,,i hope it gets fix soon,,,and i dont like the kyaks either...love your vids thought keep up the good work
The pricing for the boat dlc is out of this world tbh, and the boats are buggy and... meh. Very glad RU Fishing 4 got English version so I can just move on. And thanks for all your vids as allays KP, keep us updated!
250 price drop for CA travel? That's like one good smallmouth bass. I was a bit excited when I saw the update. When I saw the 4000 price for a day I left the lake. When I saw I couldn't buy a kayak from the store (not that I saw) I exited the game.
The only cool part so far for me is exploring the back cove of New York. Dunno why they didn’t put in an actual fishing kayak. You can stand in those as well
Yeah same here. It was a little cool to see how things looked. When i started fishing to try the kayak, there were 5 others in the lake, and everyone had a kayak. Then when i got back from the other side of emerald, they had all left the kayak and was fishing from land. The handling and all just dont feel right, along with the stupid renting prices.
I tried the kayaks too and they were too wobbly. Lots of game crashes. The screen would go black when it felt like i was falling out of the boat. I wish they would of added a new species for California since I love to fish there. A lousy 250 savings woopty do.
They cannot charge the money they are and not have this even close to right. I thought they would make the lakes bigger so there we would new areas to fish in the boat. Places we cannot reach from shore, like underwater islands for example. Point is, I was shocked also at the lack of content, just a boat for a ton of money.
Played the game for over 2 years and supported the devs with around 100 euros, still like it, but these highly priced dlcs is getting rediculus. This one i properly worth 5 euros not 30.
have you gone fishing on a kayak? you cannot stand up on one and cannot move your legs from side to side, so the 180° angle that you can face to cast is fairly accurate.
KpShamino weird I heard it cost in another video, nice vids by the way, the only recommendation I have is to specify gear a little better, hook size as well as depths and stuff your like video didn’t have it atleast I didn’t hear it after watching it 4 times
I agree that this DLC is way overpriced. I only play for maybe 3 or 4 hours a week and it is almost impossible to be able to fish for anything but bass at Texas. I have been around off and on since literally day one of Steam release and the game now is just a big money grab.
I agree, thats all I fish, the Texas lake. Fuck paying huge bucks to travel to other areas to barely catch anything and not even make back the money you spent on travel expenses
I hated I paid for the dlc boats. Very disappointed. I went back to Russian fishing. Much better than this crap. Might sell my fp account. Sorry. I only cought one muskie BTW. 10,000 plus 4000 to rent is crazy.
It's not easy being special snowflakes is it? Lol, jeez! The DLC is only 17 euro's as the 30 days premium it comes with is 10 euro's alone. Everyone's running off to "Russian fishing4"...which also has Russian dev's. You think it's not going to end up the same way as this game in time? Comical.
