Earlier this season I fished Prospertown Lake which is located right up against the Six Flags Great Adventure Park in New Jersey. You can see the Nitro Rollercoaster behind me in a couple of the shots. It is actually fun to be fishing in one of the coves that is close to the coaster. The people are flying past you screaming while you are fishing.
On this day, it started out hot. Caught a bass immediately and then a couple of pickerel. It did slow down though and eventually left feeling like I could have caught more fish.
Prospertown Lake allows public fishing HOWEVER, there are no motors of any kind allowed.... not even a trolling motor. Do not attempt to bring on anyway. The park rangers do watch with binoculars.
