A beautiful summer day in Block Island Sound. Starts out completely smooth bu,t as it does happen, the tides and winds collide in Narragansett Bay. Long Island Sound and Narragansett Bay tides meet right in Block Island Sound making for some of the roughest Sea States found on the eastern seaboard. You've got to pay attention to the weather in this playground.

I'd been waiting for the next Dale video -- thanks for sharing this one! I really do enjoy them, especially as the weather cools and the actual boating season gives way to the "virtual" one.

Great video as usual. That is a beautiful area, wish we had something like Block Island down here. I guess all coastal areas have their own beauty. 60 degree water in early July is crazy, in the 80s here that time of year, we are still in the 70s now, won't get down to 60 degrees until around Thanksgiving. Thanks for the video, I had been missing your videos.

RIght! The weather doesn't really break here til mid-June and start to warm the water...glad you enjoy the videos!
