My father used to take me to this spot in 1972 to get green weed bait off the rocks for luderick fishing. The next day we fished at Port Hacking always bagging out, dad used to say Parramatta river weed was the best. Fishing in Sydney has got a lot harder due to population pressure but still achievable to bag out....but now day's a catch and release system so there will be a future.
For sure mate. I do see some weed around the rocks in this area but yeah doesnt look like there is as much as there used to be anymore. Pretty stoked to hear from other people about this spot.
Nice video, gave you a follow. Just try to improve your fishcare. That first bream has next to no chance to survive after being dropped and slammed on the rocks. Would have been better to cook it after that. Cheers bro
@@alblee I would advise against it mate. Heaps of biotoxins accumulated in the parra river. But each to their own. I've seen plenty of people eat fish from there.
@@alblee For sure mate. I myself like to keep fish for a feed here and there. I recommend anything east of the harbour bridge and you'll be fine👍. Just use the parra river for a bit of fun as there are plenty of fish there. Great place to learn how to use soft plastics.
