Noo wrong teknique for Amsterdam brother. In the winter you should fish with small shads on the botton. Very slowly. Carolina or dropshot rig are good options.

Hey Adam, great Vid. Quick question, I am off to Amsterdam in March and really struggling with the licence online. Says I have to join a local club aswell! Any tips on getting the licence please would be appreciated
I've been looking it up today and it seems they have added an option for tourists to buy a 1 week license for 25 euro or pay 5 euro per day and that allows 2 rods from what I can find out
If you were fishing pole for roach and skimmers you could have bagged up. I’ve fished the canals around Amsterdam for over 30 years and trust me when I say that their crawling with fish. I hope you go back and give it a go.
