Dig your videos. Just got back from the Frio (I go every May) and i swear every single Bass was made aware of my arrival. Not one reeled in. Strangest fishing run ever. We’ll clean up on’em next year.
Find deep water and overhangs! They’ll be there, and remember it’s not the fish you see that will eat, it’s the fish you don’t see. Just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they aren’t there
Best time of the year IMO! Fish early, target deep water holes and fish any over hanging trees (there’s lots of them). Remember when fishing clear water, just because you can’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not there. Bass are ambush predators, the fish you don’t see are likely the ones that will bite. The fish you DO see are likely not going to bite if they’re cruising in the open
