In this video I used 3 combos: The 17 Calcutta Conquest BFS and glass rod had 5lb powerpro that I was trying out. The Daiwa alphas air TW had 0.3 goh Varivas trout braid. It’s pink and I can never recall the name. The spinning setup had 6lb J braid grand.
Could you do a video on getting some beginner bfs on a budget rod? I have 150-200 for rod and reel. Everyone I’ve talk to keep sending me 160 rods and 200 reels. I don’t have the budget for that but still want something that will last. Can’t wait for the next video.
It’s kinda stayed dried up for a while now, but there’s certain areas that still have depth and what not. But during the summer it’s so grassy, it’s almost not worth it.
