If you have a boat or kayak Quabbin Resevoir is a great place to go , and if you don’t mind a bit of a walk I highly recommend Wachusett. Get there early though, that’s the best bite. I regularly catch 3-4 lb smallmouth and those aren’t even the big ones…
Lol. The end of each cast is awkwardly over emphasized. And tighten down your drag! A 2lb bass should be reeled in seconds, no need to act like its a tuna and your in a fighting belt
