Tried my hand at some trout fishing on the Moira River as it crosses Rapids Road near Madoc. Water was crystal clear as you will see. Picked up a few trout as well as some carp that I threw back.

That trout didnt come from the moira river, but nice scenery and video. The pike in that river would clean them all out. fished it so much in my life and never seen a trout come out of it.

You are probably right. Haven’t fished there for years. It was probably in my b-roll folder & I stuck it in there by mistake. I make videos just for entertainment.

Had no idea there were brook trout in the moira river near madoc. I heard about the ousie river west of there. Any big ones or good populations? Are they natural?

ummm yeahhh, there are no trout in the moira river unless this is before I was born. but lived there my entire life and never seen a trout come out of it. pike would eat them all

yes, thats where it is, and there are no trout in that river, im not sure where he was fishing to get the trout but it wasnt in the Moira@@ChrisBogle
