In this adventure, Bill and I fish the early stages of the mullet run. We start on the dock lights, then the bridges, then the flats, then the spoil islands, then the mangrove islands and finally docks. Our perseverance paid off as Bill catches an overslot snook off a dock to save the day.
He caught it on a Salt Strong Slam Shady 2.0 John color using 30 pound test tied to 20 pound test and then 15 pound braid. That fish really saved otherwise lackluster day of fishing the mullet run in the Indian River Lagoon.
Thanks for watching!
