Na I have caught both, this one was definitely a bronzie. The are kind of similar but when you see em can tell. This was on a pretty old camera unfortunately so the zoom isn't great haha
I have looked for the bronzies for years and never found one out there. Think we need to see another big aerial display again haha, keep them coming guys. hoping to head out there tomorrow if the weather holds back
Haha thinking about targeting the big ones in the boat one day see if can't fully land one 😅. Weather been so bad lately haha this weekend looks alright though 🤞
Cheers mate. Yeah we mainly go there since it's close and get a good feed from a session there majority of the time 😁 just got to watch the tides or you can be stuck out there for a while ahha
@@fishonn1652 in a boat that would be best bet I usually go onto willy weather and look at the tide height and aim for 1.8m of water. And maybe around 2m to come back in if it's an outgoing tide to make sure there is enough water
I usually go for underneath in-between the gills as the heart is in there and then hold it in the water for a bit while the blood comes out. Keeping it I have a fish chiller bag that I keep ice in that I then put the shark in once it's been bleed.
I dig your efforts, but there's no way I could fish from a kayak, my passion for fishing is stronger than my balance, I'd be wet on the first cast. I can't really see the big attraction, apart from being intimidated at the ramp with a boat because you can't reverse a trailer or something.
Everyone is different. I like it for access to a lot of places boats can't get to, also don't have enough money for a boat or ones I can afford would rather be in the kayak. As for trailers most people trailer there kayaks anyway 🤷 I just don't since mine is a lighter model haha Would love to add a decent boat to the fleet though, that would be ideal 👌
