How are these spots always deserted when youtubers fish them? I go to these places and there's always like 3-5 old guys there all set up and basically claiming the spot as their territory. And I HATE fishing around other people. I'm new and sometimes forget to release the catch before I cast. It's embarrassing enough by myself.

Hey there! I only started fishing a year and a half ago so I know that feeling! I tend to try to go during the week or real early to beat the crowd! Imagine the looks I get wearing a go pro AND being new to fishing 😅

Over there you gotta play the tide game. It's not a bad place to fish. Land base you need to watch you tides. I would tell you a couple other places but I'm not gonna do it on here lol. But your higher tide brings those fish in close for you to get better production your looking for.

I know I’m trying to learn the tides and the barometer but I swear sometimes it’s confusing haha if you’re on instagram my account is jfishyyt_

@JfishyYT stop with the barometer lol. There's lots of apps that are free that will show high and low tides, major and minor times that I don't really pay attention to too much cause I'm fishing so I'm gonna fish anyway but I do when I hit good spots. They also give you the best days to fish which does help. But I've done good when they said it was the worst times. I'll try to add you to Instagram lol. I'm new to it and I'll send some to you right away

@@JfishyYT had a capt also tell me tides and barometer are so closely related its not worth following both, just follow and learn the tides. That being said it is good to know that things like fishing is typically great before a big storm, during a full moon, etc. Picnic island is near there an productive on the higher tides. I just started fishing gandy bridge early mornings cuz i work in Tampa. Your video showed me a few extra spots I didn't know were there. Thanks! My dad had a condo on Sand Key beach and a 24ft flats boat, maybe well take you out sometime! We started land based fishing so we like taking people out who don't own boats
