theres nothing cruel its called using live bait, except the fish he caught is to big for bait. if you wanna use live bait you use a minnow and you hook it like 2 times through the head or lip. also it's literally circle of life, another piece of nature (humans) using theyre knowledge of knowing how to hunt (fishing) using the technology we have developed
