Fishing Weipa 

I have a house both in Weipa and the Gold Coast. That makes me sound richer than I am, but the Weipa house is for work. I have been coming up here fishing for decades, lived in Weipa between 2009 and 2011, and have been back working and fishing off course since late last year. Even when not working here, I still would spend weeks every year fishing up on the Cape.

Jewie was around the metre mark. It was a good fish. So close. Im just glad I didn't fall in when he grabbed the motor. You ever seen them go that hard after a fish before?

@@wardysfishing9403 No. Not had that close-up experience with a shark. Had a couple of bull sharks take my fish, probably jewies, down deep 14M in the Brisbane river.

I had a croc take a Barra at the boat a few years back. That gave me a scare.

G'day Wayne. One of my very close mates is the marketing manger for Wilsons and he has been good to me over the years. We have had fund raisers etc and they are always there to help us out so I just like to support Wilson. I am a paramedic and work for the Old Ambulance Service. Never worked in the fishing industry. I have just spent my whole life fishing as much as I can.
