Since i see so many people commenting about cruelty id like to ask: In all seriousness, what's wrong with this? Most of the birds are throwing the fish into the nets, so it's not like the people are stealing their food, the cormorants are willingly giving it. When they do pick up the bird it's seemingly because the fish is stuck so they help the bird release it and then drop it back in the water. (Granted the reason they can't swallow the fish is because of the neck ties but still) The cormorants still get to eat, they are catching far more fish than they could ever need because they're exchanging the fish for the help of the humans. (Protection and medicine mainly) These birds have been trained from birth to do this, they have a job. They exchange a service (catching fish) for the humans help. Finally (to my knowledge) the birds wing are fully functional, if they were upset with this arrangement there would be nothing stopping them from leaving. So I ask again, what part of this is cruel?
The birds catch fish as an instinct, not just for food but also for fun. Each of them catch a lot of fish in rich waters every day, they only need one or two fish for their daily meal consider how big the fish they caught.
This is the height of cruelty and inhumane. Is there any international law to stop this practice. Can we imagine the pain if our throats are tied like this.

Medios de vida ancestrales, aceptados culturalmente .... Pero si de verdad hemos evolucionado, no es aceptable tan enorme crueldad hacia otras especies ....los humanos somos depredadores sin límite. @@С.Е-с4ь Em matadouros existem inúmeras maneiras de sacrificar o animal sem que o mesmo sofra tanto... e qualquer tipo de crueldade contra animais é considerado crime aqui no Brasil. O que eles fazem no vídeo é injusto, pois existem maneiras menos radicais e abomináveis de pescarias.
Интересно, а что происходит с птицами зимой? Их отпускают? А еще удивительно - рыба вся крупная как на подбор. Такое чувство, что это специальный пруд и просто какая то разновидность охоты за деньги для желающих, а не дикая природа. Или там реально такая живность в обычных водоемах водится?
