Today Ashley and I venture to the Stillwater River here in Ohio. This stretch of river is part of Englewood Metropark, a Five Rivers Metropark here in the Dayton, Ohio area. Ashley is the person most responsible for me starting my fishing channel, and it is great when she wants to go out with me and Get Some Bend in Her Rod!
Today I fish a Rebel Teeny Wee Craw for a bit then switch over to 3" Keitech Easy Shiners. I manage to catch some nice smallmouth bass, rock bass, and even a longear sunfish on these versatile lures. Ashley fishes 2" and 3" Keitech Easy Shiners and catches more rock bass, smallmouth bass, and even a hungry bluegill.
Each of our bug rock bass today measured 9-1/4" which qualifies for Fish Ohio rock bass. However, I'm an idiot and did not get. a good shot of the measurements. oh well...
