You don't need a big offshore boat when you can be fishing in a Jon Boat out on the flats and in the mangroves. There's tons of mangrove snapper, snook and tarpon waiting to be part of your next catch and cook
Who said you can't go saltwater fishing in a Jon Boat. I love saltwater fishing a ton. Maybe someday I'll do some freshwater fishing in a jon boat

Lol, hearing Dan sing Anchor's Aweigh brought back memories of boot camp. We had to sing that damn song every time we marched through the tunnel, then it would be stuck in my head the rest of the day, much like it is now, 30 years later. Lol, good times

Love the videos! Editor did a great job. Two things I would suggest. 1) get a Sous vide wand for your cooking. One of my sons got me one a few years back and I use for cooking things like fish, lamb, chicken, pork, and of course steak. Everything cooks to the exact temperature you want. I have a small flamethrower that I use to put a nice sear on things like steak. 2) A vacuum sealer. I toss my stuff in a bag, let it marinate, then into my sous vide bath. Makes clean up a breeze.

Water Displacement Technique when you don't have a vac sealer "The idea is fairly simple, and even simpler to execute. All you need is the pot of water you’re cooking in, the food you’re cooking, and a resealable bag-food nerd favorites are the BPA-free, gallon-sized freezer bags from brands like ZipLock or Glad. To do it, you simply place the food into a the resealable zipper lock bag, then slowly lower the bagged food into your water filled cooking container. The pressure of the water forces the air through the top of the bag. Once most of the air is out of the bag, carefully seal it just above the water line."

@@PAKOREGON I do the water displacement method for some of my bigger cooks like prime rib. The vacuum seal comes in handy not only for the cook, but storage. We cooked a couple of pounds of collards greens a few days ago. After the cook portioned it up into bags for easy freeze. I dropped a frozen bag in the sous vide bath while my steaks were cooking. When I buy big cheese I make an extra long bag so that I can cut just a bit off the bag and reseal after I get what we need. The sealers and bags have really come down in price. The vacuum seal for storage of fish is excellent. Fish in the fridge will stay fresh longer because there is no contact with air.

Yes I like the Edit! To tell you the truth I didn't notice a difference until you said something. Congrates Holmes! You are killing it Hombre! Keep producing and they will come! HA HA HA No really Awesome and Dan da Man had a blast on a supped up john boat! Killer dude. And the fish cooking style is called Sous Vide!!!! Add different aromatics to get different tastes, fish absorbs more flavor than say steak or chicken. LOOKIN JUICY!

Editors did a good job. Volumes wasn’t jumping around high and low. They tagged the names of the fish. A lot of screen changes. And they will free up some time for you to do other things. All them little changes take time when editing. Sometimes I just want to just let it run 😂. Great video 👍✌️

Great job .editing. just an idea. When you put shrimp on hook try doing it just where the horn bit comes out of the back of head .it keeps them alive and makes for a better hook up rate.

After countless years of spending 20$ on those stupid little air bubblers i ended up, biting the bullet and buying the Engle one for $50 I haven’t replaced a single thing on that bubbler other than hose just for length and it’s been running perfect for three years. Also, it’s rechargeable

That's basically cooking the fish sous vide style. Go get a sous vide machine from target or walmart. You'll be able to control the water temp much better.
