1:19:00 ,that is wrong , all teams will be divided in 4 pots as per their seeding and each team play 2 teams from each pot . Pot 1 will have the highest ranked teams then pot 2 sligthly weaker then so on . They can indeed rig the teams a teams plays from each pot but still information about each pot in out in the public (Basically which teams are in which pot) . So its not like any club might face 7 top teams . Each will face 2 teams from Pot 1 that has strongest teams , 2 from pot 2 and so on

4 retention should be allowed only in past many team also have good core but they also lost their core and build team again so there is no biasedness for kkr srh .
I don't agree with 5 saal ka mega auction... I would suggest a better retention process... Like 5 retentions, 2 RTM and 1 home grown retention.. Total 8.. This will be a good middle ground... Mega auction me you are then releasing 10-12 players from your team... And then it is fine... This will give teams more insensitive to scout better players and hence cricket will benefit in India for this..
LOL! Delhi Capitals had a very good team in 2020 and had reached the finals. However, Delhi did not say anything about the mega action and took it with a positive stride. Didn’t Delhi Capitals invest in players? Didn’t LSG invest in a player like Mayank Yadav didn’t Punjab Kings invest in Arshdeep, vidhwath and Brar? Didn’t RCB invest in a Yash Dayal, Vyshak and Lomror? Every team has invested in their players, but unfortunately, they will have to let them go because of the mega auction. I do agree though that mega option should happen after five years so that the players can be groomed better.
You are factually wrong. DC owner Mr.Parth literally expressed his displeasure on the concept of Mega auctions in 2020. Now the same guy has turned on his words. Teams like kkr & srh had no problems with mega auction before, but now they have changed sides for obvious reasons. Clearly, nobody has fair intentions....everyone is looking for their personal benefit.

I do agree that there should be minimum five years given to the player invested, but you cannot blame teams who say that they want a mega action because many teams have benefited from the mega auction in the past. Why only now this debate has risen when six teams, including Gujarat Titans, who had a horrible season are demanding to remove mega auctions? Back in 2020. Nobody really listen to DC, but now the BCCI is ready to listen to teams like KKR and SRH? Isn’t this hypocritical? I get that every team has their own interests, but can you really blame them for that? Don’t they want their teams to do well?

The same KKR and probably all teams wanted a mega auction after IPL 2020 due to Mi’s 2020 team which was legit on paper one of the best t20 sides world has ever seen (ik ik kkr 2024 is statistically better bt let me ask you if you have to field a team tommorow against Aus. most will choose Mi 2020 as it had names proven on international level) , if there was a mega auction in 2022 and Mi agreed to all of it despite assembling Avengers . KKR and SRH have no fcking right to cry about “PLayEr DEvElopment” even though I can bet especially KKR 2024 was a one season wonder . If it is a rule to have a mega auction after 3 years then it is a rule , BCCI should not change because 2 franchises have built a good team . After this mega auction we can make a rule that a mega auction will happen after 5 years but for this year , no exceptions should be made for any team whatsoever and a proper mega auction with 3 retentions + 1/2 RTMs should take place which is the norm . Announce a change after this mega auction instead of changing it for one or two franchises .

Bro i like pkl auction maximum 6 elite player and as much as you can new young players, every year and that to be player will get 10% more money of last year . Then good player can't able to stay in one team. Thats why every year they have different owner. I like this perspective
Bro srh said this overseas retaintion bcz they don't have that much valued indian players as compared to overseas where they have cummins, head, classen, markram, hasaranga. These player will go more money in the auction
