Very touching. I didn’t know about this song until today. I visited Liverpool’s Slavery Museum and found out it was sung during the “Underground Railroad” era as a code. So moving.

FINALLY I FOUND THIS I have literally been trying to find this song for 9 YEARS since I first heard it in my 8th grade American History class during a slavery documentary. Thank you for sharing this beautiful performance of such a touching song 🙏💛
