I would still love a railblaza with a sucktion cup mount. Much like the suction cup on the gopro mount

Hi Tommie, it would be great to have a StarPort that mounts using a suction cup, but this would only be good for light applications, this is why we haven't done it.

Hi Railblaza, will the Starport HD's four screw system take self tapping screws making it suitable for load bearing rod holders? I have no internal access at the rear of my kayak and would like to attach a couple of trolling rods via your system. I have seen your video's for the standard Starport (which has just the two screws) and seen you state they should only have non load bearing attachments when using self tapping screws, does the four screws fixings on the HD system get round this problem and make it suitable for all devices?

John Kirby Hi John, whilst the 4 point mount will surely help we cannot not say 100% yes to that question without knowing how well constructed the kayak is in the area you are planning to mount and knowing what exactly you call "Load" The safest option for you if concerned is to use the Rubber Well nut install option. Either way we do recommend the use of a leash on your rod. Hope that helps
