That wasn't that bad but goddamn he blew his rim the fuck up..... That's why I ride 48s front and back, I don't trust them after I did the same thing to both rims jumping a set of stairs. Not recommended.... As added insult to injury I had to get new wheels, forks and bars cause they were bent too. Glad he's OK though... That was a gnarly crash.

I understand where you're coming from with this statement, but I think the laws behind wearing helmets make it mandatory to wear helmets if under age, when of age I believe it is a matter of choice when wearing helmets. I completely agree with you though, it sucks to see riders get head injuries just because they made a choice to not wear a helmet
