I love how you called Carl a "Stage 5 Clinger!!!". That made me seriously LOL. Great video. It's so nice to see a person actually promote a healthy all round lifestyle, not some random fad crappy diet that the second you eat 1 wrong thing you gain 20kg's.
I found eating healthy to be the easiest part. I have a ton of stomach issues and I hate feeling bloated and sick after a meal. So changing my diet was something I needed to do for my own sanity. Lol once you start eating well you you don't really crave as much junk anyway I noticed.
This message hit home for me. I have struggled with my weight and self-esteem for my entire life. I was so glad to hear the things you said framed in a way that didn't evoke that fear of failure in my mind. Thanks for that!
The way you break it down into small, doable steps makes it seem so possible!! 10 minutes a day, 4 minute meditation, 1% more than the day before, and saying 1 nice thing to yourself a day!! Amazing. Thank you for bringing so much positivity!!!
I think the appointment comment/the idea of keeping appointments with YOURSELF is so spot on and important, but also tough. Sometimes when we are tired from working hard for others, either literally working, or just trying to make our friends happy, it’s easy to become so exhausted you think loving yourself is “giving yourself a break.” To your point, we don’t realize working for ourselves, and staying relaxed/happy, is probably the most important thing we can do, not only for ourselves, but others! Working on it :)
I feel like I rarely see a motivational video that is not the stereotypical "look at how good my life is, now this should motivate you" that never leave any room for error. But this video was so refreshing, thank you I feel like it was very real and authentic and filled with good tips and I feel like you made the goals more achievable. I didn't know I needed this, thanks.
You're awesome! I work from home, I'm at a desk 8 hours per day. I got so discouraged with workouts because by the end of my workday, I'm exhausted. So I found an under-desk bike (basically just the pedals) that I ride between calls. I've been using it for a couple of weeks now and my clothes are already starting to fit better!
Honestly I watch this every time I need motivation. Not even only for fitness and health, but for being focused and good at work and socially. Balance is a real thing! Thank you Angie! I wake up with your vids most mornings as I go thru my routine and u are always so positive and helpful 😊
The biggest eye opener for me was that your body craves what you eat. It took me so long to understand that once you stop eating junk every day, your body won’t crave it as much.
So motivational!! Thank you @angie! Thanks to you I walk, stretch , try to move every day ! I learned to love my body and love my tub 🛀 time. Learned to know myself and love myself and so what I love . And anxiety is slowly leaving my life .
Hello Angie :) Have a great day!! ✨ 🤩 Please talk to us more about how you do business. I checked the video on your IG link that you said to check for that, yet it is not clear to me what you actually do to make income. If you are not a nutritionist and you also follow others exercise routines, what do you do for your clients? What do they pay you for?i am really interested, please let us know how it works :) THANK YOU!
Yessss!! I have followed Angie for years now and I still don't get how she does business. I am so interested as well. I have seen many poeple asking her about it as well in other videos... Sounds like it's so awesome and she loves it, but how they actually make de $$$.
She's a coach under Beach Body and her clients are paying her to be their coach to guide them through work outs and meal preps. I'm also pretty sure she has mentioned this before in previous videos? But yeah being the awesome motivational person she is is her business.
I love how you put it so simple. This is really helpful, because I'm due with my baby any time and I need this for after baby comes out. I need to get in shape for myself and to get more energy.
First of all - Carl hahahaha! I am so excited for this 21 Days. Perfect timing leading right up to my 56th birthday. I want to go into this next year feeling happier, healthier and stronger.
Thank you so much for this video! I have always wanted to work out but never felt like I had time in the day to do it. I have to make time and make that appointment because even though I keep busy, I don’t feel like I am being as physically active as I want to. Maybe if I start with one walk a day!
SO EARLY! Hi Angie I absolutely adore you and your videos!! :) Also, please MAKE ANOTHER WHAT I EAT IN A DAY!! I've watched your Christmas version and unhealthy amount of times now haha
I can't tell you how much I needed this. I'm working on my fitness journey and am struggling. Mainly today, but I've been pretty motivated recently. But, this has been so helpful and I really appreciate you, Angie.
Wow loved this video at first I was like where is my decorate with me?! But once we sat down and started talking. Wow Angie you are truly a motivational speaker! Wow 🤩 you make so much sense. When you need to set your mind set for the day, and also 1% more then the day before! Love this! I have been over weight for 25 years, and just hearing you speak it makes me get up and move. Thank you. 😊
Wow, this video just open my eyes and realize I need to do a little bit more exercise. I have been completely drained and unmotivated and watching this RU-vid video actually just woke me up thank you for this.❤️
Hi angie I've had a weight problem for a very long time I am trying very hard to get healthy .I am 60 years old this blog as hit home to me .I need to start exercise as I know this will help me with my eating healthy. I think I just get over wheeled with it .I am going to have 4 minutes a day to my self and I am going to get me a book 📖 plan my days and food. thank you this make so much sense and as you have said its so simple 😊 why do we make it so hard on ourselves . Ps do you do work out for people my age xx
Stopped everything I was doing to watch this when you start with MOVE! I've got an under desk elliptical, duh get moving - got 20 minutes done while watching. I love your inspiration as I look for motivation to get healthy. Make time for wellness, if not, be forced to make time for illness Motivational Doc posted this week! Angie you're videos are encouraging me as I was down the rabbit hole frozen. With the loss of my father I was devastated while becoming moms caregiver, plus working full time and caring for my family. Self care is a new word in my vocabulary. Thank you Angie, you're awesome even if you're a super Rae Dunn fan, 😂!
Every second is a chance for a reset. As a chronic illness warrior, I got knocked down bad these last four days. But I know tomorrow is a nee day, I can start again. I won’t be able to do my 6 mile walk, but I can start. And I think part of the battle is giving up when we have a wash moment.
Loved this! I have people ask me all the time how i stay motivated and I tell them straight up that I don't. You absolutely cannot rely on motivation to get you far. You have to aim for consistency, even on the days you don't want to! Consistency is key!
You are such a wonderful person and your tips are so helpful. I am literally just 18 years old, about to age of 19 and I'm always trying to be a better version of mine. I feel so motivated by watching your videos and you're always giving me the feeling of belonging and that you are listening to me and your community. Thank you ❤💞🌈
Balancing, lol it took me YEARS!! Years to figure out how to balance my diet, it started with sneaking foods, like no one would know, but literally I was screening myself over. Now a days, I’m so happy with my diet, and being able enjoy foods that aren’t clean, but I know it’s not gonna ruin everything I’ve been working towards, because I know I’ve been eating great. And the foods that I prep that are clean, are so good!! I enjoy the food now, long gone are the days of nasty dry chicken rice and broccoli. They’re gone!!
You don’t no how much I needed this, I’ve unfortunately been very poorly the past few weeks so everything went out the window with fitness and diet but now I’m starting to feel better I want to get my motivation back as hopefully that will make me start to feel even better ♡
It's hard to look in the mirror everyday and be grateful for what you see or have. That really is a whole mindset shift that I know I need to make. Thank you for the tough love Angie!
Just found you! Wow someone who isn’t completely “clean” or “all in” those are disordered ways of eating to me & I eat similar to you. Lost my mojo lately & my triggers are this time of year! Around Halloween I tend to eat more sweet things (bizarre as in the UK it isn’t such a big deal) & my birthday follows so the poor eating follows then it’s parties, Christmas, dark nights etc BUT I have pulled it back this year got on track & made myself walk the dog through the day & stick to the gym when it’s a miserable evening. Only YOU can make YOU happy. Only YOU can control what you do to your body & we only get once chance. I write gym dates or long walks in my diary & stick to it. Squeezing short term sessions or walks if I need to based of family needs. The clarity I feel when I eat well & train BUT have a treat so not restricting myself is amazing. I make better decisions, feel in a better mood & look better! SUBSCRIBED 👌🏻😘
I have never been a workout person. I live in an apartment with a huge gym right downstairs. I don't use it. I want to be a workout person, I want to have nice arms! Angie, can you do a video for home workout equipment? Like what is the best stuff to have "in an apartment" to workout with? Those jump rope things you have are pretty cool, but my neighbor downstairs might not approve. Any suggestions? Or can you do a video with your suggestions? Thanks!
I love the tips Angie gave in this video. I am a very visual person and mapping out a plan and slowly cutting unhealthy meals out of my diet is helpful. I was starting to do that but my problem has always been portion control to help my tummy feel satisfied.
This is the talk I didn't know I needed. I have struggled with my weight loss and some family members bringing me down because I wasn't losing the weight. I'm glad that you have shown me it's ok to fail and that you don't have to go start back at square one.
I’m so impressed with the simple message that it takes 21 days to form a habit-so make it a positive one. I’m disabled so conventional exercise is difficult for me, but I still have movement. I’m going to adapt the steps you’ve outlined for my levels of movement and get planning and preparing!
I loved the idea of starting slow cutting in half and work towards that until the end of the week, I feel like the pandemic threw me off and I need to try to get back like this.
Definitely needed to hear this! Have fallen into starting too quick and going too big. I like that you are suggesting to begin the fitness journey where you can.
Thank you for this. I just discovered you a couple of days ago and you are amazing! I literally teared up when you told us to start saying one good thing about yourself every day. I have such a hard time doing that and I am so mean to myself. I like how you described the way we react to the negative talk, I can definitely see that.
Thank you for pointing out that being healthy doesn’t mean starving or depriving yourself. I was literally doing both after baby number two.. now I take it easy and do what I can. Ps your makeup in this video is gorgeous!!
I just had a major gallbladder attack this week. I thought my gallstones were cleared up. It’s hard to know I have to face major diet changes and surgery soon. Watching this video made me hopeful for my body. My post partum and gallstone body can find a place healing. I just need to keep my mindset and see the forest
