@351butters The entire point of the test is to test how many each kid could do, I suppose you could keep running after you get out, but that might be a bit confusing and could lead to some dishonest kids exaggerating their score.
Same here. It was so annoying that they expected guys to run like 5 or 10 laps more than girls. I wish I could have just jogged across but they wanted sprinting. These songs are really cool though, it's nice to just listen to them without the anxiety behind having to continue sprinting like it was a life or death situation.
I remember taking this test and my sneaker just flew off my foot and instead of going back to get it I kept going to finish the number. And some kid decided to take my shoe and run away with it.
@@randomthingsstudios8560 You are also from Texas. My school showed us mercy by making it inside... but... We had to aim for 75-100 (they had to loop the video because some people were able to get to 130 before collapsing on the ground.)
Holy shit is this a story. One time my actually W gym teacher made us do this cuz idk why and so i started. I made it to 52. And, another kid, he tore a ligament and broke a bone at around 60. And now, my school banned this. Shout out to that dude for being a W and ending our torment

I did 138 in my school and I was the last one and and everyone mostly did 25 or 82 but my cousin did 17 we also have to do at the end of our school here. And our coach said that 10 or nine year old could do 17.so yeah
@@JasontheFolf Same. For me, at least 8th grade (prior to the announcement in March) didn't have the pacer test, but 7th graders at my school had to do it every Friday until that point.
Same here man! When I do it I legit feel like I have a stone in my throat.The last time I did it I stopped at 20.And the terrible music playing doesn’t help.

My friend had passed out of exhaustion but I kept running but then.... ding... my first strike.. maybe I won’t Pass my record of eight laps... I hear the test go on... I start running with the horrible pain in my chest as I start running, dodging puddles of vomit and fallen third graders. As I get to the other side of the elementary school gym the timer dings, I’m out. Before I get to the line I stumble over, hitting my face into the dirty floor. I wake up with my buddy pulling me to the sideline by my leg. I roll over and throw up. I look back and they are on lap 37, only the athletic kids remain, the war is over.... I’m safe.... till next season.

Man, I used to dread that pacer test back in middle school. But when I look back on it, I missed those days, the Fortnite, the fidget spinners, 2018 FIFA World Cup, the goofy kids. Listening to this reminds me of the good times I never appreciated enough.
