what an album!!! believe it or not, after listening to the song Pashmina, I went into a trance.. Brilliant work !!! India has such fantastic talents..but for some reason, these albums don't get the kind of recognition they deserve..I am a huge fan of Amit Trivedi, somehow missed this album last year...all his albums are unique, have their own flavours..
Rahul Chattopadhyay haminastu also drown deep to state of trance too ...mostly all songs are great .... have you ever listened “D” day jukebox which is also masterpiece

hamiastu portrays the tragedy of kashmir in perfect manner. how its beauty hides her lonelines, n tragedy of kashmir. kashmir is like a beautiful women , jiski khoobsoorathi hi uski dushman hai. men quaralling n distroying her as if saying " if I cant have her , I will not let you too have her"

I didn't even know that a song like 'Ranga Re' exists. Now that I've listened to both the versions, I have loved them like anything. Amit Trivedi is a magician. This entire album is a masterpiece.
"Honedo Batiya" is best. Kashmiri strings are so soothing. Reminds me of "Aao Ji" by Kailasa. It tells you world is so beautiful. Thanks Amit Ji. You live for hundred years!
If this wasn't for a movie this album won't exist. Amit trivedi, Jubin Nautial and Arijit Sing song in the same album is unbelievable Mix with Sunidhi it's a Masterpiece
can't get enough of Haminastu....imagine landscape covered in snow, imagine blossoms, imagine light snowfall a friendly fire and u singing this while sipping tea.....agar jannat hai jameen p kahin , yahin par hai haminastuuuu....
Overall picturisation of the movie is pretty amazing. Especially the songs are recorded and picturised nicely. That is the one thing this film has, worth seeing. Pashmina and Fitoor mera are top notch.

No question one of his finest albums. Except the English version, every track is engaging with Pashmina and Haminastu being simply brilliant compositions.
