Totally agree with your take on the Pitti peacocks. The outfits and styles you show are much more interesting for being attainable and something you can realistically aspire to. The great flannel suit was my pick very elegant but somehow quite casual too.
Just found your channel as I catch up more on Pitti, and I really enjoyed the analysis of the outfits. I think Mark had the best look of this bunch to my eye. And yes, I agree about peacocks. I'd love to go to Pitti at some point, but I'm not working in the industry. I wouldn't be there to peacock, but to enjoy dressing, and to meet some of the myriad men's style people I've only been able to get to know through IG and RU-vid to date.
brownintowntailor nails that effortless look 🔥and great example of a well executed roll neck with suit. I'm personally not a fan of the peacock fits. For me, one piece of interest or color is enough. Any more and it is distracting. Of course this is the way I prefer to dress, but all the power to those of fully express themselves through multiple colors and more flashy outfits.
Nothing against the gentlemen of Pitti Uomo, however, I'm a very strong advocate of being the man who wears the clothes...not the clothes who wear the man!
