Seriously flutter team, these short vids are not good. See my other comment for why. Engineers are not good at explaining stuff. And Where is the vid doing a comprehensive job of layout with different situations and most particularly what to NOT do. I had to read a comment to learn that an 'infinite' constraint effectively means to fill the dimension/width/height. This is not CS terminology but flutter lingo. Same with talk of bindings. 'Singleton' we can do as it's now textbook, but bindings is whatever you mean by it and not a CS term. And where is the Responsive Layout vid? I 've searched. All I see is 3rd parties producing their best guesses. Is there some kind of assumption of a CSS/Web background going on here. I'm an app/desktop developer and have little knowledge of the Web.

Please take no notice of the flattery comments from clueless amateurs and codemills. ConstrainedBox, FittedBox, LimitedBox, Container, Flex, Expanded &etc need to be explained in relation to each other. Many of these videos have people scratching their heads commenting "why not use..." or "sounds like BoxConstraints...." etc And in relation to best practices for scaling/responsive layouts, including when you wouldn't use them. The docs for each are incomprehensible as is most of the flutter/dart docs, and these snippet videos are pretty near useless. The docs read like an internal engineer's notes/docs, using insider terminology with no glossary presuming we understand (I did degree level CS and I'm perplexed much of the time). It should be written by pro pedagogue manual writers. Without that there is going to be a lot of wasted time and shoddy code, and Flutter will end up being used by code-mills that will wreck the market, as they did for Salesforce in which all the decent programmers left. The manual writer pro still needs to be checked up by the flutter/dart engineers; I still remember realising that the Delphi docs for using exceptions in fact showed how java would do it and exactly how not to do it in Delphi/pascal, with resulting chaos among delphi developers catching all and every exception unnecessarily (uncaught exceptions were caught by the event loop and would display a dialog box by default, no crashing, which is most of the time what you wanted).
