Thanks a lot man, this is going to really help me add 1965 spindles to my 62 Falcon! A lot of great information.

This is a great video. I'm restoring a 1960 Frontenac. This is helpful

Thanks for the video and I, as well as ryguy9024, noticed the use of the "A" choke/GAV rod as a pointer.

I used the same ones just with a brand “ Scott drake “ which supposedly are a better brand , very sad , the lower control arm tip came off and I had to weld it , good luck

I checked there too at the time. Parts availability may have changed since then.

@@onewhocollects6781 Yes. I have a car similar to yours (Mercury Comet) that I am rebuilding. It came with a couple of boxes of suspension components. I discovered your channel when i was looking for info on the Fordomatic trans.

What was the degree of the ball joint reamer that you used? Doing this same conversion with parts that were given to me, your videos have been extremely helpful during the process!

@@josephpatterson766 I am currently working on a 1961 comet with the same control arms. I've been search high and low for information about what angle or inches per foot for the correct reamer bit for the lower arms and can't find anything myself. Also extremely interested in that information and also a big fan of this channel. Truly informative.

Are you using a Model A choke rod as a pointing device?
