In this part 2 of a short series, Geoff goes through the process of machining the muzzle end of a Proof Research brand premium high precision rifle barrel concentric with the bore to within .0001". 5/8-24 muzzle threads are expertly cut for a Thunderbeast 30CB muzzle device. The Grizzly G0509G mega-lathe is employed for the job and performs flawlessly!

When dialing the range rod. I noticed you only dialed close to the muzzle end. Did you dial at the end of the rod off camera to align the bore for run out?

In this case the barrel was centered at both ends (muzzle and breech). I will go in with a long-reach DTI to check before and during the chambering process, unfortunately didn't get good footage of that. Thanks for watching and for the comment!!
