I used to get guys come into my showroom who only used the 3m tape on their front splitter and it nearly always would be peeling away from the bumpers - always good to go the extra mile 👌🏾

Ah we've all been there, just do the process in reverse. There may be some glue but you can either put more glue on top of try to remove what's there. If I'm honest, most people are lazy and just use the adhesive stickers that are on the splitter so I don't imagine you'll have too many issues.

Hi Chris, I'm sure you'll love the car. The holes are fixed on the splitter so it can only fit one way. You'd have to drill new holes if you want to move it around. Replacement exhausts are very easy to fit - you'll see in the next video (This Sunday) Not sure if you're aware but I'm the director of Elite Vehicle Sourcing (A new car leasing company) I'd be interested to see the deal you've been offered on the 240i as we have an unbelievable offer on at the moment!

Ive actually got a November reg. 2016 230i that I bought brand new from BMW on a four year PCP plan but I'm handing that back next March for the M240i I've ordered...I've got a great deal on it with them as this is the fourth car I've bought off them....the 240 is fully loaded, sun roof, media pack, split seats blah blah, the whole shooting match and it's coming in under £480 a month. Would be interested to know how much you paid for all your M Performance bits though ?

Ahh very very nice! I think the main thing when it comes to buying cars is 'are you happy?' As long as that's a yes then you can't complain really haha. Our deal is £388 per month with no deposit (4 year deal etc) but that's for a standard 240i without the bits. I paid just over £1100 + VAT for the parts so it worked out to be a very very good deal. I already had the black Grill so I can sell that separately which should bring the total down to around £1000 + VAT.

BMW usually do deals on parts, its worth giving them a shout first

Thanks for the comment, I've had a few minor scrapes with the splitter coming in and out of carparks etc I find myself driving a lot slower when it comes to speed bumps too haha As for the mirrors - I've got a reveal video planned for release in a week or 2

You literally just do the reverse of fitting it, so undo the screws that go into the bumper, warm up the plastic so the glue behind gets soft and then use a couple of trim removal tools to peel it off. Shouldn't take more than 30 mins 👍🏾👍🏾

110% use the glue - I've seen so many cars that just use the screws and when the dirt and water gets between the small sticky seals it starts to peel off and look pretty terrible

Hi Peter, I haven't had too much trouble to be honest, theres a few steep junctions around where I live which I've scraped on a few times; but nothing major. As for performance and economy it's very hard to say as I only had the car a week before putting the kit on. I imagine it does make it less economical because you're adding weight to the car, but it does look so much better!

CF10 Thanks for the reply. Very tempted for the splitter and the rear diffuser. I used sticky stuff remover for the tape and glue when changing the spoiler, still took about 3 hours lol.

I couldn't recommend it enough to be honest, totally changes the car. No better feeling than seeing someone without the kit on their car, I know they're looking over like 'shit, I should do that too' 😂😂 We used some industrial strength stuff and it took ages so I feel your pain haha

Which stickers specifically? The ones on the back of the splitter are already there when you buy the part. If they're not then just grab some 3m tape because that's literally what it is 👌🏾

@@JamesCF10 I think he means the black stickers that you put around the front splitter to hide the paint edge.

You basically replace the screws that are already in the bumper with slightly longer ones that come with the kit - good luck bro 👍🏾

It's really hard to say but I was doing well over 100mph the other day and it felt pretty stable to me haha

Also, BMW say if you buy the front splitter without the spoiler it can affect the aerodynamics of the car. Half of me thinks 'of course they're gonna say that' but the other half is like 'imagine if it does and you end up in a bush'

Direct from BMW but you can get replica's on eBay for slightly cheaper

I got all the parts direct from BMW. They had a deal where if you buy the whole kit (splitter, skirts, grill, exhaust, spoiler, diffuser) you actually get it cheaper than buying just the skirts, splitter and diffuser. Seemed like a no brainer at the time!

+CF10 they included an exhaust !? Where can I find this deal for mine? Do you have a link or did you talk to someone..?

Ah sorry - I mean the M Exhaust tips - not the actually M Performance Exhaust...but, if you check out the channel there's a nice little free mod which should do the trick 👍🏾
