Looks like the one we are getting, so this is helpful, although it doesn’t look quite as straightforward as I’d hoped! Thanks for taking time out to show us ‘how to’ your way... 👍🏻 😉
Hey Rog, thanks for watching, it probably doesn’t look as straight forward as it could do due to my poor demonstration haha, it is easy once you’ve done it and I normally whip in on myself in 5 mins 👍🏻
Excellent video Aaron. We have the same cover and you have taught me a lot easier way by putting the zip side in the top of the awning rail and pull down. I will try that next weekend. Thanks buddy! 👍👌🦖
Hey Gareth, thank you so much for watching and your kind comments! I thought it was a rather atrocious video to be honest so if it has helped you then that is fab! I don’t think it’s the way I should be done but that is what I’ve found easiest 👍🏻
Hi ya u put cover on the same way as I do I normally slide the left sleeve in rail to the top then get the right hand one slide it in rail to stop making sure it don't touch the ground then past it over to other side and zip up and clip up and done I think they good tow cover I had winter cover as well that was made to measure fits van perfect very please with them I would reckon mend them cheers .kev
Hi My cover is a different make to yours but in order to prevent it coming into contact with the ground I open the bottle box lid(upward opening like yours) and then lay the cover across it. I can then fit the straps of this (Gadlane) cover to the awning rail at my leisure, lowering the lid when the cover is in a stable situation. I thought that this may possibly be a useful thought for you, or perhaps others.
The furry part inside that is against the caravan shouldn’t really touch the ground as it may pick up grit etc which could the rub against the van. I haven’t watched your vid yet, but will do when I’m home tomorrow 👍🏻
Nice Vid, very technical! looking foreward to more extreme technical adventures in furture? oh, Caravan supplied link watched some of your stuff, liked it, So subscribed.
You mention you've had some marks on the side of the van from the strap, I got the same marks on my 1st trip out where I didn't tuck them in, what did you use to get rid of the marks? Cheers Jon 👍
Hey Jon, I just use the waterless wash spray in the video which normally works fine, but I have also got some Autoglym Super Resin Polish that I use if it doesn’t want to budge!
Hey Vanessa. Unfortunately one doesn’t come without the other. If you put the cover on with the van even slightly dusty, you’ll very quickly end up with scratched windows and front panel, I’m pretty sure people would rather me be honest about that
@@CaravanChitChat understandable but some of the video could have been saved by merely saying that the front of the caravan needed cleaning before fitting cover. Most of videos on RU-vid are full of useless natter.
