Could you clarify what side step you used please? As the floor is raised by the insulation (mine is the 7mm version, and then the additional 12mm floor and around 2mm for the altro liner, the original step is no good, the slightly deeper kombi step is also too small, and the caravelle step seems too deep! I'm stuck, would be great to hear how you dealt with it!
I'm not 100% sure what the product was called but it was from Kiravans and was labelled as the deeper threshold version. It fits, not quite like a glove because the underlay does raise it up ever so slightly, but it fits well enough for me. I'd rather have the underlay than a perfectly fitted step.

Regarding the double sided tape, unfortunately I don't know as I was lucky enough to 'acquire' some from my previous job. I remember it was very good stuff though, very strong, so perhaps just ask at your local DIY store what they'd recommend and maybe just try one roll and see what it's like. Sorry I couldn't really be more help.
Hello, yeh so I put double sided floor tape down along the ridges to try lock it in place. Not sure if it's necessary as it is a very tight fit anyway and isn't moving, but figured it wouldn't hurt. I didn't fancy screwing it down but I may need one screw by the tailgate as this doesn't quite sit down as flush as I'd like. I hope that helps!
