Piece of cake to change back when it’s mot time now that I know how to do it.

I would love to hear this Xpipe with the stock/ or slip ons....we know straight pipes will be loud (NOT my thing), but pulling the cat out should improve the sound overall....

@@brianlewis8417 in a video or 2 after this I went with the stock pipes back on. Sound was back to sounding like stock. Very little difference. But performance was still better

@@midlife-crysis sounding like stock?😮 I installed a TEC X pipe on my Street Twin and it's no where near to stock sound lol😅 maybe the bobber stock mufflers are very restrictive.

Why no Motone x pipe? Was it just less expensive? You should also get a radiator guard from Motone too.
@midlife-crysis
@midlife-crysis 4 месяца назад
motone are not selling the xpipe anymore, think they got scared that they might get a fine for selling custom parts that make things too loud, some strange uk law that some car modifier companies got in trouble for

@@midlife-crysis man that’s stupid, what’s next fining companies for making money. You the consumer bought the product so if you choose to “violate” the law that’s your problem and Motone is an international sales company that adheres to other countries import laws so how does the local government get to dictate what they manufacture?

I think you need to flash your bike ECU if you remove the cat, the popping sound when you let go the accelerator prove that.
@midlife-crysis
@midlife-crysis 3 месяца назад
the flash seems to cost about £450, eek

@@midlife-crysis Have you tried a 12min reset? The procedure is simple. 1. Start your bike (cold start) without touching the throttle. 2. Wait till the bike reaches temp, This is simple the fan will come on! 3. Continue idling for 12 more minutes! 4. Turn off via the key and leave for a few more minutes before restarting. This will force the Adaptive RE-learn cycle according to Triumph!
