I wasn't sure about the arches off the car but fitted, I get it, they look great. I want to see the '89 done purely to have Mrs S back in her pride and joy. I want to see the restomod done so i can see whats in Matt's head 😂

89 now takes it for me as the favourite build to follow. Making some great progress for Mrs S. Going to be a lovely build. Now to what colour?! BTW great sound track for this one too really suits the vibe.

Yes it’s now the big push for this one. The colour is going to be rover nightfire red with a gloss black roof. Stay tuned

your doing what i did to my 93 boot lid. filled old lamp holes added the mk1 flip down plate and round rally reverse light with mk2 tail lights.

Yeah I have to admit obviously I love the 89 massive memory’s with the car also. But the cooper is going to mint when it’s done I can see it now.

Rivnuts are really good. Used them on my mini and very versatile. Only thing to mention is tolerance is key for them staying attached. Which car, dont think there can be a favourite as both are different styles and builds which is nice.

Thanks, yes thats a fair point these should be fine for holding some plastic arches on. Happy its going to be a nice fitting for the arches and wont damage the car later down the line. Cheers

Another small step, but an important one. An enjoyable video, but the music was far too loud and I had to keep changing the volume level on my iPad between your explanations and the time lapse music, which was a bit of a pain. Best wishes.

Yes the amazon is a slow burner unfortunately while work moves through the workshop. There is a video live this week on the amazons engine though. Cheers

Fair point but hopefully we can keep this to the minimum with proper protection. The sidewalk has had these fitted for a number of years and has been fine.

hi what colours it going? red and black white and red blue to match yours blue and white to match the volkswagen? i prefer the 89 so far still need to see where the resto is going
