I am so glad that I saw this video! I ordered some diabetic shoes from Fitville after seeing your review. AND they are less expensive than where I normally buy diabetic shoes. Thank you so much for your discount code!
I have wide feet with an extremely high instep and arch, I swear nobody makes shoes that fit me. I have EasySpirit mules, because they are the only shoes that fit me somewhat comfortably, but they are dangerous to work in the yard because they slip off your feet and in Arizona most yards are gravel and painful to walk on when you lose a shoe. I clicked on the link and saw they have a large selection that would work for garden shoes, even if I have to buy a man's shoe. Thanks!
I might order some of these! Especially for my sister who has rheumatoid arthritis. Thanks for the review and coupon code, Sophia! The shots of you walking at the post office were cute :)
I hope they work for you. I too suffered 3 severe rt ankle sprains as a teenager, playing basketball, with lots of tendon and ligament damage. For years after my ankle would turn hust walking across the room. Finally, it got better in my mid 20s. Lots of horseback riding and working around the barn in paddock boots which supported my ankle and riding strengthened it. Also at that time Easy Spirit shoes came out and made a high top sneaker that was great. I was able to get a EE toe with a AA heal and they gave great support. Unfortunately when they were bought by Nine West and they changed the designs and sizing. I haven't been able to find sneakers that are a good since, but at least I don't have such a weak ankle now, just a bunion on one foot. But when buying wide shoes, the heel is too wide and let's your foot move in the shoe no matter how you lace it or how tight you tie it,
I don't have that issue of the foot rolling inside the shoe with these and I dint keep them tight, that said, yes you describe my fiit problem, between dance and horseback riding, I did a lot of damage on that left ankle. It s always on my mind and I developed a habit of walking looking at the ground to scope out possible uneven sidewalk, pebbles and such. I miss out on all the sights!!!! Lol.
Just ordered a couple of pairs of shoes and used your coupon code. I wear the same size as you. Been needing good comfy shoes. Bought sketchers before but wasn't satisfied with comfort. Thanks for your review. I never heard of Fitville before.
I noticed you do t lace up through the top hole. Lacing the runner's lace technique which will use the top hole as well as making a loop through them and sliding the same side lace through them before crisscrossing to tie will give a lot more ankle support. I'm terrible at explaining it but Google has the info. I have a weak right ankle and that's the only way I'll lace my shoes now.
Fantastic review, Sophia! Actually I love any and all reviews you do. You're very thorough. And can I say, you look adorable in those leggings! Very slimming. Ok, I bought my first pair. I got the grey Mary Jane since you said they ran a little large. I need to get in the habit of wearing shoes around the house!
The first pair looked really comfy and I like the style. I started buying sneakers more often years ago and that made a huge difference in my back problems. When I wore them more often like every day I bought a new pair every 6 months. Now I problem buy a new pair every year or 2 years. I mostly wear my flip flops now which is probably not a good idea!
These look awesome. I have feet problems and always have to wear expensive shoes. The prices on these are reasonable for what they are. Do you think they would work on “duck feet”. My elderly mom has narrow heels and wide arches/ toes. Finding shoes for her is even more of a nightmare than it is for me
I am not certain but it would not hurt to contact them and ask. Scott s grandma had the same issue and she could only wear ballerina flats which ended up making her feet even worse.
I just wanted to bring this to your attention….. I had ordered shoes from “Fitville” and received them today. Although the shoe looked great, unfortunately they were too small, so I contacted them to see what I needed to do to exchange them for a larger size. I was quite surprised by their response. This is the verbiage from this response: Thanks for your message to FitVille, we are happy to help with an exchange! There are two options available: 1.FitVille understands packaging and shipping items back and forth would significantly increase carbon emission, therefore we offer the customer to pay $35.00 which is for the new pair and also keep the old pair (without shipping them back). OR 2. If you want to send these back to the New Jersey warehouse for the new pair, please make sure the shoes are still in a clean resellable form, then send the package to the following address: xxxxxx… Although I’m feeling as though I may be sending them into a black hole…Obviously I’m going to return them for an exchange…not sure what I’d do with a pair of shoes that didn’t fit 😳…. I have to say I am a bit taken back by their policy… as well as the informality of it all… hopefully I’ll receive the right size in return. These shoes are not cheap. To be honest even if I do, I’m not sure I’d order from them again.
Wow. I think they mean that perhaps you know someone who could use the shoes but in any event that is not a customer approach I like. Would you mind if I was sharing your comment with my contact there and see if something can be done?
