The Imola GP will witness significant changes, with packages from Red Bull, Ferrari, Mercedes, Aston Martin, and McLaren making their debuts.
Mercedes has given specifics regarding the alterations that will be implemented at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, emphasizing the significance of improving consistency across a race weekend in order to fully capitalize on these updates. Following the previous race in Miami, the team unveiled the first component of their new package, with the remaining components due to debut at the next Imola racing weekend. Mercedes' Trackside Engineering Director, Andrew Shovlin, stated in the team's post-race analysis film that the components performed as planned at the Miami International Autodrome. Nonetheless, he stated that their opponents' rapid development rate, combined with persistent issues with their own vehicle, poses problems in turning these advancements into on-track performance. Shovlin also claimed that Mercedes has expedited the distribution of half of their update kit to Miami, with the remainder set to arrive in Imola, and that plans are underway to provide other improvements in future races.
